Club Working Bee/Social Meet & Greet/BBQ

Hi Members,
The club will be holding a working bee out at the track on Sunday 13th March.  The aim is to kick off the working bee in the morning and go until lunchtime.  The club will then throw some snags on the BBQ followed by some fun out on the track for those that bring their karts out.
This is a great opportunity if you only have a practice license to come out for a run because there will be plenty of karts out on the circuit to test yourself and have fun at the same time.  So everyone bring your karts!
For the working bee we ask everyone to bring out some tools and equipment to make the job faster and easier…….Bring a mower, whipper snipper, blower, rakes, a shovel or whatever you have that you think will help.

Some of the jobs we need to get done:

  •  The whole complex needs mowing and whipper snipping
  • Once mowed we will poison weeds, etc
  • Tyres need to be straightened around the circuit in all areas
  • Gravel traps need to be raked and free of weeds
  • All sticks and limbs need to be picked up and put on the fire pile
  • All buildings need to be cleaned around and inside
  • Bin and a carpark tidy up

The more hands we get the quicker it gets done and the sooner we can get the karts out so all hands welcome. To have a great circuit we need a great bunch of helpers!
Hope to see you there.

Note that the track will be CLOSED until after the Working Bee.

kind Regards,

PMKRC
